SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Poolbeg Press is one of Ireland’s leading book publishers with a reputation for discovering new talent such as Marian Keyes, Cathy Kelly, Patricia Scanlan, Sheila O’Flanagan and many others.

We are looking for a high-achieving and ambitious Sales and Marketing Manager to grow and develop our business. You will be wholly responsible for all sales, setting and achieving challenging sales targets, and working closely with other departments. You will be involved in everything from developing marketing campaigns to ensuring their implementation.

Reporting to the Publisher, the ideal candidate will be an avid reader and enjoy creating new international best selling authors. Candidates should have at least three years experience in the booktrade. Dedication, commitment, attention to detail and strong commercial sense are essential. The successful candidate will have the energy and determination to push sales to the maximum whilst maintaining the profitability of the list. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work as a team player and enjoy the whole publishing process are imperative.
