Parting Company by Mary O'Sullivan

This book is the best book I have read in years. I looked forward to picking it up each evening and I look forward to reading many more of Mary O’Sullivan’s books. I gave it 5 stars but really I should take 1 star away as the cover gave me the impression that it was a ‘chic lit’ novel, and I bought it on a recommendation. I will be recommending this book to all of my friends but I will let them know that the cover does not represent the content.

Yet again, Mary O'Sullivan has deprived me of the most important thing in my life, namely, sleep. Not since I first discovered John Grisham have I found an author who has enabled me to totally escape from the rigours of my everyday life into the world she has created for me. I wait with bated breath for the next publication from this wonderful writer.
