Lucinda Jacob studied English at Trinity College Dublin and qualified as a librarian at University College Dublin. This is her second book featuring Sandy the Hamster. Other titles include Emma’s Hat, Molly is a Good Dog and Sandy the Great. She also writes for children’s television and radio. She is married with two daughters, who are the owners of numerous pets, and she lives in Dublin.
